Stoler, formally the owner and driving force behind Casual Lifestyles, a major supplier of mid-high to high end futon frames, will direct Harlee's marketing arm. "Chet fits perfectly into our organization bringing with him over thirty years of national and international business acumen," said Steve Leichter, President of Harlee. "For the past twelve years, he made Casual Lifestyles the most recognized name in the futon industry."

In addition to his marketing experience, Stoler will also contribute to new product design and development. Stoler's well-known offerings include the popular Cordoba bedroom set recently named one of the designs most requested by retailers. "Chet's input will certainly be seen in Harlee's line of domestic and imported hardwood futon frames and bedroom sets", added Leichter.

Omni Softgoods - New Line, New Logo
Spring Green, WI - Omni Softgoods recently unveiled their new logo, the culmination of months of work revamping the product line and company focus. "For 14 years we've concentrated on futon products," said Robin Reid, company President. "In the last year especially, our retailers have asked for a broader range of home fashion products including bed-tops and window treatments. Our company has refocused to support those needs, increasing emphasis on custom work and bedroom and bath product, while keeping our strong commitment to futons. Our logo is the icing on the cake."

Omni's spring fabric line consists of over twenty-five multi-purpose fabrics chosen for the young and young-at-heart, including washables.
On another note, the 1997 Sauk County "Large Business of the Year Award" was recently awarded to Omni. Elements taken into consideration for making the selection were: contributions made to the community, focus on employee growth and development, and providing a family oriented work environment. Congratulations on a job well done!
The company also announced their move to IHFC 1410 at the Spring High Point International Home Furnishings Market.
Reid said, "This is a very timely move for Omni. Futons are now mainstream furniture items, and we're moving into the main building at the High Point show to obtain more exposure to standard furniture buyers."

Mary is known to many in the furniture industry and brings a considerable expertise to this department. Mary has over fifteen years experience with trouble shooting retailer and consumer problems and coordinating shipping.
"We are fortunate to be able to offer our customers Mary's experience in customer service and especially her all around knowledge of the furniture industry," said Harlee's president, Steve Leichter.

The company, long one of the leaders in futon frame design will also be debuting two new mid priced futon frame designs in their "Designer Pine" series at the 1998 Futon Expo in New Orleans. "We will also be introducing four new all hardwood arm designs that range from an Art Deco look to an Arts and Crafts design," Leichter said. The hardwood designs will be available in all of Harlee's standard finishes including their popular new Natural Cherry finish. All new styles will feature Harlee's patented, consumer friendly front conversion mechanism.

In addition to the new futon frame styles the company will showcase its new collection of conventional bedroom furniture.
