Hi. Do you know what kind of futon has hardly any hardware? A friend, who is blind, moved into the apartment below us, and my husband and I disassembled his futon because it was the only way to get it into his apartment. I figured I'd be able to look up how to reassemble it online, but all the futon I see appear to be more like conventional furniture than this is, and I can't seem to find any that are like it. It's very simple and ingenious with very little hardware--probably pretty old, like from the 1980s. I've spent more than two hours trying to research this and am at my wits' end b/c I don't remember how it goes back together. And I feel TERRIBLE! Can you help? Anything here ring a bell? We're very lo-tech and don'[t even have a camera between us, or I'd take a picture. Any info would be wildly appreciated! (I've checked for a manufacturer and found none.) You probably can't help, but I thought I'd try.
