Gold Bond to Show Premium and Futon Mattresses at High Point Show
Futon mattress pioneer Gold Bond will be showcasing premium futons and mattresses at newly renovated IFHC main building, Space 615, during the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C., April 14 – 20, 2005.
“Retailers are flooring futons and premium sleep mattresses to draw traffic and as promotional items in increasingly tough market conditions,” said Gold Bond president Bob Naboicheck. “Gold Bond builds the industry’s deepest premium and super-premium futon and mattress lines.” Visco Opulence ‘Superlative’ Futon

Gold Bond products to be spotlighted include the Visco Opulence™ futon and the Prestige Elegance™ mattress.
The Visco Opulence “raises the bar” in the futon industry. It combines two one-inch thick temperature- and weight-sensitive visco foam layers, two eight-inch thick “batts” of densified poly fiber, and two, two-inch-thick layers of 1.8 density high resiliency (HR) foam—22 inches of the industry’s finest support materials. The futon is then double stitched, lace tufted and condensed into a 12-inch, high-profile, heavy-duty cotton twill outer shell.
“It is a futon that delivers in superlatives and carries a 15-year non-prorated warranty,” Naboicheck said.
Prestige Elegance ‘Most Comfortable Mattress’

The Prestige Elegance retails for $3,000. It is a unique Gold Bond combination of encased coils, cashmere, wool, silk, visco and other foams. It was cited as “The Most Comfortable Futon Bed” by a leading home furnishings bedding editor recently.
Permanent Las Vegas Space: July ‘05
Gold Bond will be showing in Las Vegas’s new World Futon Market Center, Space 1038, in July 2005 as well. Both showrooms were selected for their easy-to-find locations alongside some of the nation’s best-known brand name home furnishings suppliers.
Gold Bond, the country’s leading futon mattress manufacturer, is based in Hartford, Conn. The company has been family-owned and independently operated since 1899. Adonis Furniture of Oakland, Calif., and SIS futon Covers of Columbia Heights, Minn., will show with Gold Bond in High Point and Las Vegas.
